Don't go to Little Rock Game Con!

Despite what is being reported in the local papers, and on the Little Rock Game Con website, I will NOT be appearing at that show. In fact none of the comic guests mentioned will be attending. I also recommend that potential patrons steer clear of this evet due to deceptive practices.

Wizard World chicago Sketches & new art

First off, I’m going to be trying something different for my sketches this year in Chicago. I usually do really elaborate (and expensive) commissions at shows, but this year I am going to have a much lower price point. Sketches will be $60 with no reserve list. All sketches will be first come first serve. The upside is that sketches will be much cheaper, but the downside is that you will most likely have to wait in line to get a sketch. The price goes for Blank cover sketches, sketchbooks, backboards, comic boards, etc... Anyways, I hope the experiment works out. I think it will create a lot of excitement around my booth, and I think that energy will help me turn out some really great looser sketches.

Secondly, I have a couple things hitting the comic shops this Wednesday. I have a five page story in the epic that is Amazing Spiderman #600. I think they are my strongest pages (storytelling wise) yet, so be sure and check it out. I also have a 1940s decade variant cover for Black Panther #6. Sadly, J. Scott Campbell is doing the regular version, so everyone will probably be passing mine up.

The Futurists going live wednesday

Hello everyone. "The Futurists," a webcomic by myself and Patrick Stiles is launching tomorrow at WhoAreTheFuturists.com. [link]

This is a pretty huge deal for us, as we started working on The Futurists about a year ago, and it will be the first creator owned project we have ever published. We would really appreciate it if you guys could help us spread this thing far and wide. We want to get this in front of as many eyes as possible.

You don't have anything to lose really, as it's a FRAKKIN' FREE COMIC!

Florida Supercon, June 5-7
